I know I am just at the beginning, but if someone said to me, years ago, that I would start a website one day, I would have responded with "that's crazy!"
Once I started opening myself up & involving and evolving myself, eventually it led me to just one evening deciding to start a website. I didn't go months or years of contemplating. People have mentioned starting a website to me. I said one day I would. But, then one evening I just really thought about it, looked at a few website engineers and quickly made a choice because I wanted instant start.
I know I should have probably done a lot of research; but, I didn't. I guess you can say I trusted my instinct or went for the gut feeling. And cost had a hand in the choice of website.
This is definitely a trial & error- like EVERYTHING in my life, since birth.
I'm not sure whether I made the right choice, since my page is less than a month old. But, I will find out!
I'm not sure how my website could or would eventually draw in income. I know in the near future I will add some products & services to sell. But, on whether my website will bring in other income sources, I do not know.
I do sometimes wonder whether I started it too early or too soon. But, glad that I took the step forward anyway!
If someone comes across this blog post that has some encouraging advice, I would love to hear from you!
I don't know if I can put this on the company I use my website for, but there are limitations and time-sucking challenges to making and building a website. Time-sucking because at times it takes a long time to load pictures. I work, teach and other things in life that take up a large part of my day, so I am usually posting at night. Sometimes late at night. Maybe the time frame has something to do with why pictures take longer. IDK.
My latest post of a recipe took me almost 3 days to get it all loaded and posted. Other times, not so long. Ugh. This is definitely a work in progress! If anyone is planning on starting a website, please keep the time-consuming in mind! :-)
Well, it wasn't the best of days.
I did something things that was good and some that was not so much.
One thing that I did get to do was make a recipe- which I love to cook!
One thing that I didn't get to do was go on a bike ride- 1st time in many bdays! :-(
One thing that I did and didn't want to do was: didn't teach yoga class, did not drive far and use up time.
One thing that I did get to do was have an expensive dinner!
One thing that I didn't get was a healthy conversation with dinner.
Things that I did get was some great presents from my family!
Thing that I didn't get was to spend time outdoors.
One thing that matters the most is I get another day of life! YOLO!
Be grateful! Focus on the good and positive things in life!
I don't know which way would and sounds better.
I'll keep with this one for a bit. Then switch it, for a bit. Till a get more followers to give feedback!
If you don't use and work with online interface programs often, like me, then starting a new website is tricky and time-consuming. I'm always like, where is what I want to use? lol

Added another recipe today. A healthy chickpea dish. Was writing the directions and stuff and ended-up saying that it is good for your mind, body and soul. Then put mind, body & soul food. I like the tag so much that I changed to heading in my recipes page. Thinking about changing the page title to that, as well!
I hope you are enjoying and maybe trying the "healthy" dishes. Can't knock it till you've tried it. Right?
Gimme some feedback! lol

Continue to add! Added a pictures page and a recipe page!
Just a couple pictures and one recipe to start.
Working on a website is time consuming- especially if you are new to using it.
Trying to figure out what you can do and what you can't do. With the limitations with what you paid for.
I know the page is not much now, but I hope the people who read this help support me and my endevour- by sharing and commenting. I'll take any words, feedback, suggestions, etc!
